Where we ride
North of Orlando, between the Ocklawaha and St. Johns rivers, lies one of the biggest stretches of open recreation country in the Southeast — sand pine scrub, longleaf pine, crystal springs, and hundreds of lakes where you can ride, roam, and cool off in the water. 383,000+ acres across North Central Florida · Marion, Lake, and Putnam counties.
25+ Years in the Scrub
Jack didn't inherit a map of the Ocala National Forest — he drew his own. Around 2000 on a Suzuki DR350, he started learning the scrub, sand roads, and trails most people never ride twice.
What started as riding turned into knowing: which fire roads open after rain, where the sand stays loose until noon, which pine loops link into a full day without hitting pavement, and which springs are worth the stop when you want to swim and cool off.
He's watched the forest change — burns, storms, new closures, old favorites coming back. That kind of time in one place isn't something you get from a GPS. It's mileage, wrong turns, and coming back the next weekend to try again.
Before the dirt bikes took over, Jack raced autocross with the Sports Car Club of America — member, safety steward, and driving instructor. He hung up the car racing and put that same discipline into motorcycle instruction: line choice, control, and staying smooth when the terrain gets rough.
A tour with Jack is the whole picture — throttle time on real ground, time in nature, a dip in the springs when it fits, and the laid-back Florida community that shows up for a shared day in the woods.
The timeline

While you're here
Airbnbs and hotels are nearby if you want a roof — and you're welcome to leave your trailer and bikes on the property at no charge while you're in town.
Trail-Ready
Oil, clutches, brakes, cables, bolt-on accessories, basic maintenance, and general setup — the everyday work that keeps you riding. Jack handles the practical stuff, not the deep engine jobs.
Bundle & save
Book two or more services in the same visit and text Jack about a bundle deal — save when you knock out the list at once.
What we don't do
Basic wrench work and setup only — no engine rebuilds, no full overhauls.
Fresh oil and filter, level check, and a quick look for leaks — keep the motor happy between forest days.
Cable adjustments, perch and lever setup, pad and plate swaps, and bleed work — plus lever modification and grinding levers to fit your hands.
Pads, bleeds, rotor checks, and control cables routed and adjusted so stopping and clutch pull feel right.
GPS mounts, lights, hand guards, and other bolt-on gear — installed clean and wired where needed.
Air filters, spark plugs, chain lube and tension, fluids, and the routine stuff that prevents a good ride from turning into a long walk.
Suspension sag, bar/lever position, tire pressures for terrain, and a overall once-over so the bike fits the rider and the trail.
Stay in the loop
Get real-time ride updates, chat with the Ocala Jack crew, and keep the conversation going between trail days.
Ride changes, training days, and what's happening at the property — as it happens.
Race nights, classics, and whatever's on — watch together and talk bikes.
Setup questions, trail stories, gear, and the usual shop talk.
Post photos, builds, and the bike you're proud of.
